BALLET
Ballet is a form of dancing which may tell a story, express a mood, or just reflect a piece of music. Ballet is an activity that help dancers improve their fitness, flexibility and body awareness. Ballet is the “backbone” of all dance training. In ballet the student will learn grace, elegance, technique,discipline, flexibility, stamina, and endurance. We strongly feel that ballet is the most important dance form that a child or adult can study. We offer Ballet for all ages and abilities.
CONTEMPORARY
Contemporary Classes integrate various traditional disciplines of modern dance foundations with current contemporary styles. These classes are for dancers who like physical complicated floor work, patterns of movement and self-expression. Elements of improvisation are also introduced. Contemporary dance is the name for a modern concert dance genre. It is not a specific dance technique but a collection of methods developed from modern and post-modern dance and can take on many forms including dance fusion, emergent dance and revisionism.
RAD EXAM
The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) is a UK-based board for dance education, focusing on classical ballet. Aspire Ballet Dubai offers its students both the world renowned RAD syllabus and the world famous Russian Vaganova Method. All elements are taught with passion, professionalism and an up to date teaching knowledge. Because we want to encourage our students to reach their full potential, they will have the opportunity to participate in stage shows and examinations to show case their new skills.
HIP HOP
HIP-HOP class will introduce young students’ to the basic vocabulary and style of hip hop movement. Hip Hop is about personal style and expression. This high energy class can be taught to anyone with a passion to move, so no dance experience is required. It also gives the dancer knowledge in coordination, physical strength and promotes self-confidence.
PAS DE DEUX
Pas de Deux is a dance duet in which two dancers, typically a male and a female, perform ballet steps together.
PROGRESSION BALLET TECHNIQUE
The programs aim to help train the right muscle groups to enhance muscle memory. Each exercise has been trialled with various students within the age group and reports of progress field and reported. The results have been logged and significant improvement noted. All students responded with positive feedback. Teachers who have implemented this program into their own ballet studious have commended extremely positive feedback.
POINTE
Dancing on pointe is the act of standing on the tips of the toes while performing steps from ballet. Also known as pointe work, it is performed using hard-toed and stiff-shanked pointe shoes. Dancing on pointe requires strength and skill, so prior permission from instructor is required before students begin taking pointe classes. All pointe classes are designed for students with previous ballet training. Students will utilize previously learned ballet technique while working in pointe shoes. Each class includes barre exercises, center floor work and across the floor combinations. These exercises focus on strengthening the feet and ankles.
BOYS TRAINING
Boys training in ballet develop strength, flexibility, and discipline while honing their skills in classical dance techniques. Through rigorous training, they break gender stereotypes, showcasing grace and athleticism in a form of artistic expression that transcends traditional expectations.
CLASSICAL
Classical is like mastering a careful dance where you practice precise moves with grace and fluidity. As dancers follow strict training, they not only get stronger physically but also come to love the timeless beauty and discipline of this art.
REPERTOIRE
A series of performances featuring a diverse selection of classical and contemporary dance pieces. Dancers showcase their versatility and skill by presenting a range of choreographic styles, often highlighting the breadth of their technical prowess and artistic expression.
STARS
Stars involves dedicated practice and refinement of dance techniques, where aspiring performers focus on achieving elegance and precision in their movements.
